(WB) Excited for the ROV Training Session!
Friday, February 28th from 10am to 12pm
The “how” and “why” behind this change are key to understanding its importance:
- Why It’s Critical:
- This standardized ROV process is designed to ensure greater transparency, consistency, and fairness when addressing appraisal-related disputes. By aligning the process across GSEs, it provides a unified framework, which is not only benefits appraisers but also ensures that borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders have confidence in the accuracy of property valuations.
2. How it Affects Members:
- Our members will need to familiarize themselves with the basics of auditing appraisal reports to ensure compliance with these new guidelines. This knowledge will enable them to identify and address potential errors, support borrower concerns effectively and maintain alignment with GSE expectations.
3. One more super important thing: In today’s real estate world it will increase the value proposition for our selling brokers and listing brokers. They will become more valuable to the buyer and seller.
This session will be pivotal in equipping our members with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate these changes confidently. I’m thrilled about the opportunity to discuss this important topic and provide value to everyone involved.
