In this class we will discuss specific steps that sellers and buyers should take when preparing to make a transaction during hurricane season. 

We will discuss the following: 
• Preparing the Seller/Buyer for Transactions During Hurricane Season
o What can the parties expect from their Realtors® in the event of a storm?
o What liability/responsibilities should a Realtor® avoid?
• Force Majeure: FRBAR Standard G.
• Risk of Loss: FRBAR Standard M. – Rights/Responsibilities in the event of Property Damage
• Lessons from Hurricane Ian: Insurance, Post-Storm Inspections/Estimates, Loan Closings

By the end of this class you will have a comprehensive understanding of the various measures that sellers and buyers should take when doing business during hurricane season.
