Participants will explore the Letter of Intent (LOI), attorney involvement, purchase price considerations, critical dates and deadlines, third-party financing, deposits, closing procedures, cure periods, common disclosures, and optional clauses that may be important to a commercial transaction.

The course will also introduce the fundamentals of commercial leasing, with a focus on office, industrial, and retail properties. Participants will review how lease structures and rent calculations can vary, including specialty arrangements such as percentage rent, and how economic conditions, market demand, and other factors can influence whether the leasing market favors the landlord or the tenant.
