Did you know that is very common for realtors to be sued at some stage of a Real Estate transaction with a client? This course is intended to educate real estate professionals on the do’s and dont’s of their daily operations to protect themselves for the possibility of a lawsuit.


Topics Covered Include:

• Know what your duties as a transaction broker or single agent are.
• The default provisions and timelines in the “As Is” contract• How to incorporate your business to reduce liability

• How to protect your commission• Know who can sell the property and who has the authority to sign a listing agreement.

• Know what a release & cancellation contract includes
• How to not get sued for discrimination.
• Do not give legal or tax opinions.
• Read your contracts!
