Did you know that is very common for REALTORS to be sued at some stage of a Real Estate transaction with a client? This course is intended to educate real estate professionals on the do’s and don’ts of their daily operations to protect themselves for the possibility of a lawsuit.

 Know what your duties as a transaction broker or single agent are.
 The default provisions and timelines in the As Is contract
 How to incorporate your business to reduce liability
 How to protect your commission
 Know who can sell the property and who has the authority to sign a listing agreement.
 Know what a release & cancellation contract includes
 How to not get sued for discrimination.
 Do not give legal or tax opinions.
 Read your contracts!
