Commercial leases are a lot more complex and involved than residential leases and therefore, commercial real estate agents must understand the nuances involved. This class will help agents get past the legalese and understand the reason for particular lease terms and their ramifications on property rights, expense pass-throughs and escalations, the obligations of each party to the lease, and how a well written lease protects both the landlord and the tenant and makes it easier for a landlord to finance or put a mortgage on the property.
