MIAMI — The MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI) installed 2024 Broward-MIAMI President Venus Proffer, PMN, CRS, e-PRO®, PSA, MRP, CLHMS, ABR, C2EX at its Inaugural & Awards Celebration on Feb. 2 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

The Broward-MIAMI Board of Governors impacts key policy decisions and important issues affecting the Broward County real estate industry, analyzes market information, produces strong legislative initiatives, provides vital member services, and presents commercial networking events and programming throughout the year.
Native Floridian Leading Broward-MIAMI Realtors
Proffer is a broker associate with Coldwell Banker Realty. She is a native Floridian. She has lived in Western Broward, and currently owns property in both eastern and central Broward.
Prior to becoming a full-time real estate agent, Proffer had over seven years of experience in real estate title closings. This experience has helped her provide customers with knowledge that helps them understand what is expected of them before, during, and after their closing.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Florida Atlantic University. Proffer is also a Notary Public and has a great deal of experience with conducting loan closings for Buyers and Sellers since 2003.
In addition to serving MIAMI REALTORS®, Proffer has served as Florida REALTORS® director, Florida State Women’s Council of Realtors Governor and more.
Her accolades include: 2024 MIAMI REALTORS® RPAC Advocate of the Year; 2015 Broward Council of the Miami Association of Realtors recipient of the “Champion of the Year Award” and 2020 “Community Advocate of the Year Award”; 2019-2020 Florida State Women’s Council of Realtors Governor and recipient of the “Member of the Year award” and “Presidents Amazing Award.”
