Preserving Broward: Tides of History Water Taxi Tour

Set sail on a unique journey through Broward County’s rich past during Preserving Broward: Tides of History Water Taxi Tour, hosted by the Broward Regional Board. This guided cruise along Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Intracoastal Waterway offers a fascinating look at the historic properties, iconic landmarks, and distinctive architecture that have shaped our community.

Enjoy a narrated tour led by the Director of History Fort Lauderdale, who will share the stories behind some of Broward’s most significant waterfront estates, preservation efforts, and architectural treasures visible only from the water.

The Water Taxi will depart from and return to the riverfront near the historic Riverside Hotel & Stranahan House Museum located at 335 SE 6th Ave in downtown Las Olas. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as the boat will depart promptly at 9:00 AM.

Registration: $30 for MIAMI + RWorld members and guests and includes light bites, refreshments, and the narrated tour.

Parking: Pay-to-park street parking is available along the Riverwalk, Las Olas Boulevard, and in the Riverside Hotel Parking Garage.
