FreeIn-Person (HQ) The Alcohol Beverage Permit Process in Real Estate
9:30am to 12:30pm
In order to sell alcohol in Florida, there are two requirements that must be met, permission from the local government – county or city. And a license from the State of Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, DBPR, ABT. In Florida, the process is varied, with different ways that local governments control the sale of alcoholic beverages. It is primarily exercised through their respective zoning codes. Approval to sell is typically granted if the property is zoned commercial and meets certain distance separation requirements that are established to presumably ensure that no adverse impacts occur on surrounding areas resulting from the sale of alcohol. This Workshop guides you through the basics of the process, including the sale of licenses, the Quota licenses, as a commission percentage transaction for the CRE Agent representing Buyer or Seller of the specific license.
Additionally, within the hospitality industry, including Bars, Hotels, Lounges and Adult Entertainment facilities of the industry will be explained as another Asset available for selling in Florida. This Workshop will explain the permits, licenses and the basics of the Asset Sale Process.
