MIAMI — The MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI) expanded its record number of global partners to 256 after signing 10 new agreements with real estate associations recently. MIAMI signed with nine FIABCI associations at the 73rd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Miami Beach in June and signed with the largest Colombian real estate association in August.

 

Our new partners are from Colombia, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Italy, Norway, Georgia, Andorra, Belgium and Venezuela. These alliances provide resources, visibility, and connections for MIAMI’s valued international partners, while also creating business opportunities for MIAMI members, enhancing Miami’s global position and more.

 

“MIAMI REALTORS® is looking forward to collaborating with our new global partners, promoting each other’s markets, launching mutually beneficial initiatives and more,” 2023 MIAMI Chairman of the Board Ines Hegedus-Garcia said.

 

MIAMI Now Has Global Partnerships in 72 Countries, Six Continents

Founded in 1951 in Paris, FIABCI is the International Real Estate Federation with 47 chapters around the world. The FIABCI communities gathers real estate stakeholders in over 40 professions such as brokers, architects, developers, investors and more.

 

MIAMI signed new agreements with the following FIABCI chapters at the 73rd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress: FIABCI-Taiwan; FIABCI-Saudi Arabia; FIABCI-Australia; FIABCI-Italia; FIABCI-Norway; FIABCI-Georgia; FIABCI-Andorra; FIABCI-Belgium; and FIABCI-Venezuela.

 

Andorra, Saudi Arabia, Norway and Belgium are new countries and markets MIAMI had never signed with before. MIAMI now has bilateral agreements with real estate associations in 72 countries and six continents.

 

MIAMI also re-signed with: La Asociación Peruana de Agentes Inmobiliarios – ASPAI (previous signing was 2012); FIABCI-France (previous signing was 2016); FIABCI-Deutschland (previous signing was 2018) and FIABCI-Panama (previous signing was 2017).

 

MIAMI Young Professionals Network (YPN) also signed an international reciprocal agreement with FIABCI Young Members Committee.

 

MIAMI Signs with Largest Colombian Real Estate Association

MIAMI signed with la Lonja de Bogotá during the Gran Salón Inmobiliario Colombia 2023 in August. Lonja de Bogotá is the oldest and largest Colombian real estate association. Founded in 1945, la Lonja has spent nearly 80 years promoting its MLS and the real estate sector of the Colombian capital.

 

MIAMI YPN President Katherine Arteta signed the reciprocal global agreement with la Lonja de Bogotá. MIAMI YPN also signed with la Lonja de Bogotá.

MIAMI, the largest local U.S. Realtor association with 60,000 members, has been signing honorary reciprocal agreements with international real estate associations since 1996. The organizations are part of MIAMI’s International Referral Network, which links South Florida properties with more than 2 million real estate professionals around the world.
