MIAMI Realtors Expands Partnership with CartoFront to Provide Even More Flood Insurance Tools for Members, Homebuyers

MIAMI — The MIAMI Association of REALTORS (MIAMI), the nation’s largest local Realtor group, continues to expand its partnership with CartoFront so its nearly 60,000 members can have the latest and best tools to simplify flood insurance for their clients.

CartoFront, which launched its partnership with MIAMI last year and is integrated directly within every MIAMI MLS listing, now offers an updated 2.o platform with quicker loading times for both public (FEMA) and private (National General) flood insurance quotes, a new feature that highlights ‘The Lowest Price,’ and a vertical quoting display which makes it easier to compare quotes, both on desktop and mobile.

“In its first year with MIAMI Realtors, CartoFront generated over 7,500 essential flood insurance quotes to our members,” 2022 MIAMI Realtors Chairman-Elect Ines Hegedus-Garcia said. “We know from the data that 57% of all MIAMI MLS property listings are on FEMA Flood Zones and will require flood insurance if financing. This makes CartoFront 2.o an invaluable tool for our clients.”

The free CartoFront platform continues to be bilingual — English and Spanish — and provides three options for a MIAMI Realtor to share with their client: email, quick link, and printed PDF.

“Starting April 1, South Florida will see increased FEMA pricing on all NFIP Policies,” CartoFront CEO Jason Harris said. “We wanted to be ahead of that date to make it even easier for MIAMI Realtors to get comparison quotes on every residential property in the MLS. It is estimated that over 75% of all policies will see price increases, and now is a good time to make sure home buying clients have all the information they need to make a smart financial decision.”

CartoFront has updated its bilingual eBook, “Everything you wanted to know about flood insurance … but were afraid to ask,” which offers a free handy flood education resource. The English version can be found here and the Spanish version can be found here.

In addition, CartoFront has partnered with Marcio Pepe, the owner of GetAQuote.com, to service and bind flood insurance quotes through his MPX Insurance Services, based in South Florida.

“Flood insurance is complicated and undergoing tremendous change with FEMA,” Harris said.  “CartoFront’s goal is to simplify it and make our REALTOR® partners ‘the hero’ with their clients.”
