The Miami Association of REALTORS, the largest local Realtor association in the nation has elected Ralph De Martino, CRS, GRI, broker and president of Ocean International Realty, as its 2011 Residential President. He and the entire Board of Directors will be installed on October 15 at the Annual Installation Luncheon at Jungle Island in Miami. The Residential Board of the MIAMI Association of REALTORS is dedicated to leadership in the industry, the real estate profession, and the communities it serves. MIAMI residential leaders impact key policy decisions and important issues affecting the residential real estate industry, analyze information, and are actively and visibly involved in events and programming.

The association is the largest local association in the nation, represents over 23,000 professionals in residential, commercial, and international real estate, and is larger than 38 state associations.

De Martino is actively involved in the local real estate industry and community and committed to enhancing education within the real estate profession. With more than 25 years of experience as a Realtor, De Martino has served on the Florida Realtors® Board of Directors since 2001 and is a National Association of Realtors Director. In 1992, he was president of the Paducah Board of Realtors in Kentucky. He was recently appointed to the Master Brokers Forum Advisory Board and is past president of the Kiwanis Club of Miami Beach and of the Paducah Lions Club.

De Martino has received various awards and recognitions including: ranked in top 2 percent nationwide for sales volume, member of the Master Brokers Forum (Miami-Dade County’s top 250 Realtors), Florida REALTORS Honor Society (2002), and Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches Honor Society (2009). In Kentucky, he was named Realtor of the Year (1993), and ranked #1 in closed units and #1 in sales volume statewide for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates.

De Martino was an adjunct real estate professor for the University of Kentucky College System from 1988 until 1996, is a past member of the National Real Estate Educators Association, and is past president of the Kentucky Real Estate Educators Association. De Martino and his wife, Aura Cecilia, live in Miami Beach.

Patricia Delinois, CDPE, TRC, Century 21 Premier Elite Realty, will serve as President-Elect of the MIAMI Association of REALTORS.

The MIAMI Association of REALTORS was chartered by the National Association of Realtors in 1920 and is celebrating its 90th year of service to Realtors, the buying and selling public, and the communities in South Florida.
