De Cardenas: Trailblazing Women’s Council of Realtors Leader
A Cuban American born and raised in Miami, Dinorah de Cardenas began her career in the publishing industry as part of the sales team at Miami New Times, where she had her first taste of success. She later advanced to Ocean Drive Magazine and eventually joined Editorial Televisa, the world’s largest Spanish-language publishing company, where she launched a new department and later rose to become Publisher of ESPN Deportes La Revista.
In 2006, Dinorah pivoted to real estate and teamed up with her husband Jorge L. Guerra Jr., a longtime MIAMI leader who will serve as 2027 President of Florida Realtors. Together, they launched REAL ESTATE SALES FORCE (RESF), a brokerage known for innovation, a tech-forward approach, and one of the top-rated teams in South Florida.
Dinorah’s passion for supporting her peers and the industry is evident in her service to the Women’s Council of Realtors®, where she worked her way up from local secretary of the Miami-Dade network to ultimately serving as the 2024 Florida State President. In recognition of her impact, Dinorah received the Residential Women’s Champion of the Year 2024 award, celebrating her leadership, innovation, and commitment to the REALTOR® community.
Dinorah has been a full-time real estate professional since 2006. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, is fluent in English and Spanish, and lives in Coral Gables with her husband Jorge and their teenage sons, Dominic and Alec.
Her journey—from publishing powerhouse to REALTOR® leader—is a testament to the value of vision, collaboration, and purpose.
