Frequently Asked Questions
What is OneHomeowner?
OneHomeowner™ is a customer-for-life experience platform for managing home ownership. Available as a member benefit, real estate professionals can offer their customers private and personalized hubs where they can monitor their home value and equity, maintain and service their home, store important home documents, and more – at no cost to the agent or their customers. Agents stay connected to their customers while they’re not transacting through recurring home-related emails, built-in chat, and a personalized hub experience.
Why use OneHomeowner?
OneHomeowner™ is a tool to help agents go beyond the transaction with their customers and deliver value on a continuous basis well beyond the closing table. It puts the agent in the role of trusted advisor for all things real estate and delivers value to customers and prospects at every stage of the journey.
What challenges are agents facing in the market?
Customer retention is one of the biggest challenges. Research shows that the vast majority of homeowners won’t return to their original real estate agent. This creates a massive gap in ongoing engagement, with the majority of your clients going elsewhere for their next transaction—resulting in millions of dollars in missed revenue.
What is the main goal of OneHomeonwer?
To provide value at every stage of their homeownership journey and keep you top-of-mind with past clients & leads, helping you build lasting loyalty so that when your clients are ready to move or refinance, you’re the first person they think of.
What are the benefits of OneHomeowner compared to traditional home management portals like ePropertyWatch or HomeBot?
OneHomeowner is holistic and provides valuable information and recommendations for all aspects of homeownership, not just focusing on one or two specifics like home value or market trends.
How does OneHomeowner help capture consumer intent?
By carefully monitoring the homeowner behavior in their hubs and providing clear calls-to-action for triggering events like Sell My Home, get a Loan, and Get a New Home, it knows to notify you when they may be ready to buy or sell again.
How do I invite my customers to OneHomeowner?
- Import your contacts from Gmail, Outlook, MS Excel, or Google Sheets and then tag which are homeowners.
- Send your customers a personalized invitation to create a home hub.
- Agents will have their own mini-website to explain the features and benefits of a home hub.
Your customers can claim their hub by simply entering their address.
How long does it take to create a new hub? Is there a limit to how many hubs I can create?
There are several pathways to create hubs. If you want to invite your entire database, use the invite Homeowners button. If you want to maintain the customer relationship after a closing, you can create an individual hub. It only takes a minute or two, provides a ton of value, AND ensures that you are kept top of mind.
Once homeowners activate their hub, how do they continue to stay engaged with it?
Automated, personalized touchpoints are sent to them on an ongoing basis to keep them engaged and you top of mind.
Is there a limit on how many hubs I can create?
No. The invitations you can send to customers are limitless.
Can I remove a Service Provider from the platform?
No, you can’t remove service providers, however, you can request to add a new service provider to the directory. You can also recommend (or unrecommend) a provider.
Recommended providers will appear at the front of their category, clearly marked as recommended by you. The other providers in that category will simply appear in alphabetical order, behind your recommendations.
How do I recommend service providers to my customers?
No. The invitations you can send to customers are limitless.
