MIAMI — The MIAMI Association of Realtors Commercial (MIAMI Commercial) elected Fernando Arencibia Jr., C2EX as its 2020 president. He and the 2020 MIAMI Commercial Board of Governors were installed Feb. 28 at MIAMI’s 2020 Inaugural Celebration at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

 

“With more than 2,700 members, MIAMI Commercial is the fifth largest commercial Realtor organization in the United States,” Arencibia Jr. said. “Our 2020 MIAMI Commercial priorities includes expanding commercial services, education, the South Florida Commercial MLS, research, technology and social media.”

 

MIAMI Commercial leaders impact key policy decisions and important issues affecting the South Florida commercial industry, analyze information, are actively and visibly involved in events and programming, and promote Miami and South Florida commercial and investment real estate worldwide. MIAMI represents 52,000 residential, commercial, and international real estate professionals.

 

Arencibia Jr. is the Broker-CEO of Arenci Properties Realty in Miami. He has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry, specializing in commercial and investment residential real estate in South Florida.

 

Before starting Arenci Properties Realty, he was a Realtor Broker-Associate with RE/MAX Realty 1 from June 2007 to February 2019.

 

He has a master’s degree in social sciences from Florida International University in 2000.

 

Arencibia Jr. has served as a state director and commercial committee member for the Florida Realtors since January 2017. He has served as a national director for the National Association of Realtors since January 2019, and currently serves on the NAR Commercial Committee for 2020.

 

His accolades include: MIAMI Association of REALTORS Commercial Leader of the Year in 2018; the 2017 RE/MAX International Hall of Fame; the 2011-18 RE/MAX International Platinum, 100% and Executive Club.

 

Arencibia Jr. is an active member for the South Florida community. He has been the vice-president/founding member of the MHS Maps Miami High School Alumni Professional Society since June 2011. He’s been on the Board of Trustees for D. Rafael Penalver Clinic in Little Havana since 2018 and currently serves as Treasurer. He was a board member of the Little Havana Merchant Alliance from October 2012 to October 2015. He was the REAAC FIU Real Estate Alumni Affinity Council President from June 2013 to June 2014.
