Pinecrest Mayor Joseph M. Corradino will be speaking about the Pinecrest Parkway (US 1) Vision Plan and its potential impacts to the commercial corridor within the Village of Pinecrest. Contemplating the expansion of the North Business District Overlay to other areas along the corridor, providing for a residential mixed-use development option at locations directly across from future rapid transit stations, the Vision Plan process looks to vet ideas and concepts with residents and stakeholders with the primary goal of preserving and improving the character of Pinecrest while enhancing quality of life for its residents. Feedback from the Association members is welcome and will lend to a vibrant discussion on the subject.
