Join us in celebrating Juneteenth and the progress of revitalizing Sistrunk in Fort Lauderdale!  Sistrunk Boulevard, formerly known as Six Street, was once a vibrant main street for the Black community of Fort Lauderdale.  After years of neglect, there is renewed buzz and excitement around a new mixed-use development on the 1200 Block or Sistrunk Blvd.  The development will include 27 residential rental apartments, 5 commercial units, covered parking, an active rooftop, two community spaces and a plethora of additional amenities, according to the Westside Gazette.  Clarence Woods with the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will discuss this development and more at our Sistrunk Commercial Marketplace Luncheon on June 15.  Enjoy lunch at Sistrunk Marketplace and Brewery.  See you there!
