Think the Real Estate Industry Shouldn’t be Concerned About Cybersecurity? Think Again!

Instructor: Paul Debogorski

Class is held at the Jupiter location (Palm Beach County)

The FBIs Cybercrime Report for 2021 shows last year was the biggest year ever for cybercrime in history, with losses conservatively estimated worldwide at over $445 billion. REALTORS were one of the biggest targets for hackers, with hackers stealing their clients data, escrow account balances, or simply causing havoc by irreparably damaging their computer systems through wire fraud, phishing scams, social engineering, and through other criminal means.

Paul Debogorski, a Certified Ethical Hacker and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator with over 20 years of experience, including working with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, will present real examples of REALTORS who fell victim to these scams and were forced to go out of business or sued by former clients, as well as ways to spot these sorts of attacks, and ways to protect your business, your clients data and money against these criminals.
