Class is held at the Jupiter location (Palm Beach County)

 
during this in person class, real estate professionals will learn the State, Federal and ADA regulations regarding Service Animals.  You will leave the class with a clear understanding of what the law is and how to stay out of trouble.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Difference between a service and emotional support animal
  • Enforceability of “pet” limitations/weight restrictions
  • Requirements and training for a service dog as opposed to an emotional support animal.
  • Allowable inquiries to be made concerning a service dog
  • Allowable inquiries to be made concerning an emotional support animal.
  • Common non-animal related issues arising under the Fair Housing Act.
  • Florida Statute(s) relating to emotional support animals
