The Realtors Commercial Alliance of MIAMI (RCA MIAMI) has elected Edward J. Redlich, SIOR, CCIM, its 2014 president. He and the entire Board of Directors were recently installed at MIAMI’s Annual Inaugural and Awards Luncheon. The RCA MIAMI Board is dedicated to leadership in the commercial industry, the real estate profession, and the communities they serve. RCA MIAMI Leaders impact key policy decisions and important issues affecting the commercial industry, analyze information, are actively and visibly involved in events and programming, and promote Miami and South Florida real estate worldwide. MIAMI represents over 31,000 residential, commercial, and international real estate professionals.

Ed Redlich is a Miami native who has more than 17 years of experience in Miami’s commercial real estate market. Both of his parents, Ronald and Patty, were also very active in the real estate profession. In 2003, Redlich was initiated as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), which is considered the “Ph.D. of commercial real estate.” This designation is obtained by completing both educational courses as well as reaching the higher levels of production.

Redlich currently serves on the CCIM Miami-Dade District Board of Directors as Past-President. In 2008, he was designated a SIOR (Society of Industrial & Office Realtors), the most prestigious commercial real estate group in the world. He is one of the youngest SIORs in South Florida and sits on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chapter. He is also actively involved in the Realtors Commercial Alliance (RCA) and is past-Chairman of the Board for both South Dade County’s Vision Council and Vision Foreign Trade Zone, Inc. In 2010, ComReal relocated its office into the foreign trade zone known as the Miami Free Zone in Doral. His interest in his customers’ manufacturing and logistics operations has led him to tour China twice as well as Panama and the Panama Canal. Early in his career, Redlich also gained hands on experience working for UPS Logistics.

Redlich’s services include buyer and tenant representation, asset disposition, landlord representation, consultation, site selection, and lease/purchase negotiations. He also has equity positions in certain industrial developments as well as development projects syndicated with others. Redlich has represented all types of businesses including larger international corporations and smaller, local entrepreneurs. His past corporate clients include General
Electric, Goodyear Tire, Burger King, Precision Response Corporation, Lennox Air Conditioning and Costex Corporation.

In 2001, Redlich graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Personnel Management. He is also Past-President of FIU’s Real Estate Alumni Affinity Council (REAAC). Currently, he represents and is a principal-owner in Eastgate Business Park within The Homestead Park of Commerce, a master-planned Class A business park.

Paul Cauchi serves as Senior Vice President of Commercial for the organization. Teresa King Kinney, CAE, RCE, CIPS serves as the CEO for the organization.
