Starting in February 2018, the Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Council of the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (JTHS-MIAMI) will host regular Palm Beach and Martin County real estate info sessions to help JTHS-MIAMI members learn about the newest projects coming to the area and see how they can utilize the developments to boost their respective businesses.

“Our first JTHS-MIAMI info session in November drew a standing-room-only crowd of members looking for information on local upcoming commercial projects,” said Lynne Rifkin, the 2017 JTHS-MIAMI president and a Realtor with Keller Williams of the Palm Beaches. “Starting next year, we will regularly bring together local municipalities and county speakers to keep our membership updated on what’s new in Palm Beach and Martin Counties.”

Palm Beach and Martin city officials, public and private zoning and development employees and government officials will make presentations on new area projects every other month on the third Thursday of the month at the JTHS-MIAMI office (2151 Alt A1A in Jupiter), starting February 2018. A specific date hasn’t been scheduled. Visit JTHSMiami.com for the latest information.

JTHS-MIAMI Commercial Marketplace, which gathers local commercial practitioners to network and present their listings to each other, will follow the info sessions. The JTHS-MIAMI info sessions and commercial marketplace will be free for JTHS-MIAMI members. Non-members: $10. For the latest information, visit JTHSMiami.com

Standing-Room Only Crowd for Jupiter Projects Update
A standing-room-only crowd of about 50 JTHS-MIAMI members attended a Jupiter Update meeting on Nov. 30 at JTHS-MIAMI’s Jupiter office. Marty Schneider, the principal planner for the Town of Jupiter, presented on proposed and approved commercial projects coming to the Town of Jupiter.

JTHS-MIAMI members learned about many new developments, including Jupiter’s Love Street project. The $30 million outdoor marketplace will include about 18,000 square feet of retail, office and restaurant space on the Jupiter Inlet. Love Street was approved by the Jupiter council last year and has the potential of adding to the Jupiter Inlet’s reputation as an ecotourism destination.

RCA MIAMI’s Successful New and Noteworthy Series Shined in 2017
The REALTORS® Commercial Alliance of MIAMI (RCA MIAMI), which was created more than 10 years ago to bring tools, products, education and resources to South Florida commercial practitioners, has excelled in putting together commercial real estate info sessions for its members.

Similar to the upcoming JTHS-MIAMI info sessions, RCA MIAMI’s “New and Noteworthy” series provides city spotlights on many communities throughout Miami and Broward counties. City officials and public and private developers speak about upcoming projects coming to that specific city. RCA MIAMI has hosted popular “New and Noteworthy” events in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Fort Lauderdale and more.
